OpenVZ consists of a kernel, user-level tools and templates. Kernel and tools are needed to install OpenVZ, and templates are needed to create containers.
For kernel and utilities installation instructions, see wiki:Quick installation (or wiki:Installation on Debian). For templates, see Templates download.
If you are using yum, you can add openvz yum repository by putting openvz.repo file to your /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory. For more info, see wiki:Yum.
Please see /debian and wiki: Installation on Debian).
Note that all RPM packages from OpenVZ project are
signed by our GPG key. You can get the public key from
here,
here or here
and import it to your RPMDB using rpm --import filename
command. For more info, see
wiki:Package signatures.
